Frequently Asked Questions
Why should my child play box lacrosse?
Box lacrosse is widely recognized as one of the best ways to improve stick skills, creativity, decision-making, toughness, and overall lacrosse IQ. The fast pace and confined playing area require players to think quickly, communicate effectively, and handle the ball under pressure. Many of the world's top field lacrosse players grew up playing box because the skills developed indoors translate directly to success on the field.
Can girls participate?
Absolutely! Girls are welcome to register and compete alongside the boys in this tournament.
What if there are not enough players in my age division?
Teams will be formed based on registration numbers. If there are not enough players to field a team at a particular age level, Rocky Mountain Express will communicate available options with affected families prior to the tournament.
